Willoughby & Company, Inc. CPAs offers an array of accounting services. Our firm maintains a system of quality control that is in compliance with professional standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). To maintain firm licensing and insure compliance with the AICPA quality control standards, we are required to have an external Peer Review every three years. A Peer Review entails a detailed inspection of our quality control policies and procedures, and selected client engagement files by an external CPA firm. An on-site System Peer Review is mandatory for accounting firms licensed in the State of Ohio that perform attest engagements (audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures). Our most recent System Peer Review was completed in September, 2011. We received the highest rating of pass.
Our firm engaged Manning & Associates of Dayton, Ohio to perform our Peer Review. Mr. John Keller, CPA conducted the on-site Peer Review. Mr. Keller also served as the Chairman of the Ohio Society of CPA's Peer Review Committee.
